Brembo - (220mm Rotor Required) Rawrr Mantis X Rear Brake Upgrade Kit (Blue or Red +1 Week Delivery as Special Order)

WARNING: YOU WILL NEED TO SLIGHTLY MODIFY YOUR MANTIS X IN ORDER TO FIT THIS BRAKE.  THE BRACKET PIN ON THE REAR SWING ARM WILL NEED TO BE SHORTENED 3/16".

This is the first of its kind Brembo brake kit for the Rawrr Mantis X (220mm Rotor is required but not included).  This is a kit to upgrade your RAWR Mantis X stock brakes to an upgraded brake set. You will receive a custom bracket that mounts onto your Rawrr Mantis X, the Brembo brake caliper, brake line, and the brake lever ( along with several washers as spacers for the mount. You will need to bleed your brakes with Dot 4 brake fluid. Plenty of youtube videos on that procedure. These brakes are much larger than stock. 

This kit is specifically for the Mantis X which requires a spacer for the rotor.  The hub/spoke width on the Pro version is narrower than the stock Mantis X and the brake caliper clearance is not an issue.  On the Mantis X, a spacer is used to bring the rotor further away from the hub allowing clearance for the Brembo caliper against the spokes.

WHY BREMBO? - Brembo brakes are superior to Ultra Bee brakes because the pistons are opposing each other and the calipers are fixed and do not move around like the UB and typical moto brakes which slide on the pins.  This creates a more solid and precise braking control.
